My lifelong goals are to help government run well and to build strong communities.

I believe that good government helps people of all backgrounds thrive. I will work to preserve and create livable and inclusive neighborhoods and to reduce financial burdens on our households. Local government is a great place to test solutions to our country's biggest challenges. We will build on efforts underway to take on climate change, the opioid epidemic, and the educational achievement gap. We will test new models of transportation, civic engagement, and business development.

I also believe in investing in institutions and policies that create strong community. When we share stories and friendship, we can tackle the hardest challenges together.

Since 2004, I have helped the Mayor and Superintendent use financial and data tools to improve our city. In that role, I launched programs like SomerStat, ResiStat, and 311. These initiatives have made our city more efficient and responsive. As a resident, I have been active in the schools and have championed the concerns of residents.

My 13 years in Somerville have been important ones in my life. Over that time, I got married and had three children. Now I live with my family and my neighbors in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
